Virtual Firewalls

In multi-tenant environments, such as server co-location facilities, it can be useful to delegate control of firewall policy to tenant or client. In FireRack we refer to these delegated security zones as Virtual Firewalls.For the perspective of the tenant, the security zone acts like a stand-alone firewall. They have full control of the policy that allows packet into our out of their network segment.
